39th Annual event - Hundreds of vintage classics compete for prizes and trophies. Viewing show at the Pine Mountain Village. Parade and re-enactment of the famous (or is it "infamous?!) 1922 Bank Robbery

Immediately following the Antique Car Parade, witness the reinactment of that historic 1922 bank robbery where something went terribly wrong. (Loose lips sink ships!) This particular robbery "attempt" was also the first time a motorcar was used as a getaway vehicle in a bank robbery.

A local cast of characters make this a fun, family adventure. Bring the camera!

28th Annual Woodcarvers Jamboree
Saturday, September 12th, 2009 - Sunday, September 13th, 2009
Woodcarvers from all over Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas will converge on Eureka Springs for the 28th annual Woodcarvers Jamboree to be held under the pines at the Pine Mountain Village on Highway 62, September 12 and 13. The craftsmen and women will demonstrate their prowess and show their wares from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday. There will be carvings, wood burnings, and wood turnings of all types. The event is free to spectators. This year's show will feature a "People's Choice Competition" as visitors to the show vote for their favorite carving. Awards will be made for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The popular event will also feature on-going demonstrations of carving techniques and plenty of friendly conversation.
